Bluestuff NDX is a highly efficient sport and race material suitable for both aggressive street driving and certain types of track use. Its impressive performance has been proven on the track with quality aftermarket calipers, such as multi-piston systems with improved release and cooling, and larger rotors. However, it may face some challenges with street-based calipers due to pad size and caliper drag. One of the major advantages of EBC Bluestuff NDX is its superior bite even when cold, offering progressive brake feel and great stopping power. This premium brake material has also received ECE R90 brake safety regulation approval and is currently obtaining certificates (as of July 2011). Some older street-based caliper systems may not be suitable for the new Bluestuff due to their caliper and slider drag, but this is a common issue for all competitors. Keep in mind that there is no perfect material for all older street-based caliper systems on the track.
