The DS series coilovers feature an enlarged 44mm piston within a larger-than-standard 53mm damper body. This extra oil capacity helps maintain a consistent damping rate as the fluid's temperature increases. This is complemented by a 53mm damper body in the BR range, further decreasing peak temperatures and optimising performance.
