The backing plate allows for multiple mounting orientations for maximum adjustability. High quality hardware keeps everything in place for the life of your car. License plates are, in many cases, a requirement to be placed on the front of your vehicle. Rather than adding holes to your bumper cover and/or blocking the cooling stack of your car, use the COBB License Plate Mount.
