HKS Honda Civic Type R (FL5) Carbon Brace - Full Set

This body reinforcement brace uses a carbon shaft manufactured by GRAPHITE DESIGN, a leading company in carbon shafts for golf. A carbon brace bar is added to connect the left and right front struts to increase rigidity, and the carbon material has a vibration damping effect to reduce unpleasant vibrations. Not only does it eliminate the unpleasant stiffness that can easily occur with metal reinforcement bars, but the carbon shaft absorbs unpleasant vibrations, resulting in a smooth, high-quality ride without any unpleasantness.

Development team’s notes:
Without the carbon brace, steering lacked linearity and felt imprecise, making the car harder to control. On the track, this vague response made limit behavior unpredictable, reducing driver confidence.
Installing the carbon brace improves steering linearity, delivering sharper feedback and a more connected driving experience—both on road and circuit.
For enhanced aesthetics and weight savings, we crafted the upper plate from machined aluminum with a hollowed outer perimeter.
This marks the first time in the series we’ve designed it exclusively for front installation. As this is an FF (front-engine, front-wheel-drive) vehicle, the front brace alone provides significant benefits. A rear installation would require interior modifications without substantial performance gains, so we omitted it."
